The problem

Ubuntu Core 24 stable has been released, superseding Ubuntu Core 22.

Proposed solution

Update to Ubuntu Core 24.

Are there any benefits to switching so soon? I think, core22 is supported as long as the Ubuntu 22.04 line is?

No rush at all, it's just a premeditated issue raise to handle it one day.
It's seems to be supported for 10 years.

Canonical supports Ubuntu Core long-term,delivering kernel patches and bug fixes continuously for up to 10 years.
