Before submitting a help request, I have:
How can we help?
Is there some place in the UI that tells the user which version they are running?
I've been looking for it and cannot find it. I have ":latest" specified in my docker compose file. However, after pulling, it does not seem to rebuild and having the version number would help have made troubleshooting much faster.
Note: I am not looking for help troubleshooting the build issue (that has been resolved). I just want to know if I am missing where the version number might be listed in the UI. If it is not in the UI, any chance it could be added somewhere inconspicuous?
@Flaminel commented on GitHub (Oct 17, 2025):
There's an existing feature request for that #234.
The version can be found in the logs when starting the application.
Which issue are we talking about here?
@oderyn commented on GitHub (Oct 18, 2025):
The issue arose due to a pull and subsequent launch. But on launch, it did not appear to rebuild. I eventually just forced it to rebuild so I know that I am on the latest build. I mentioned that in order to provide context for the request, but I also didn’t anyone spending time on the build issue (which was more a docker issue than an issue with cleanuparr).
Makes sense that it is in the logs. I must have missed it. I have ADHD and often can miss things that are staring me right in the face. I even thought that it was in the UI and I was missing it.
Anyway, this is far from serious and I will close the issue since there is already a request in. FWIW, I did do a couple of searches for similar issues before filing the request. (Did I mention that I have a condition that means I often
sometimesmiss things staring me right in the face? ;) apologies!@Flaminel commented on GitHub (Oct 19, 2025):
