Lidarr not getting artists from musicbrainz #4278

  • I have searched the existing open and closed issues

Current Behavior

Currently searching for a artist returns 0 results or if you wait long enough and error
tried multiple artists have restored backup of lidarr and created new instance of lidarr from scratch and there are no changes to behaviour.

install lidarr following the wiki and search in the add new page

Environment

- OS: debian lxc
- Lidarr: 2.12.4.4658
- Docker Install: no
- Using Reverse Proxy: no 
- Browser: firefox
- Database:sqlite

Trace Logs have been provided as applicable. Reports may be closed if the required logs are not provided.

Sorry i didn't see the other thread regarding Lidarr API issues . Would it be possible to open up the API server data to users with a submission page and a voting system so we can populate the information instead of trying to rewrite everything every time an external site makes changes to their system?

The metadata server is partially open source. Please read the update comment on the other issue.
