Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe
Sonarr now supports malicious/executable file type handling should it be discovered. It is an advanced indexer setting. Please add the ability to control/modify this for indexers managed by Prowlarr. Thank you!!
Describe the solution you'd like
Add Indexer option in Prowlarr that manages the “Fail Downloads” feature supported by Sonarr.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Not sure one there is one.
Anything else?
No, but thank you!

Yes please. this is a feature that will be realy apreceated.
@mynameisbogdan commented on GitHub (Jan 28, 2025):
For the moment you need to change this option from Sonarr for every indexer you have and it will be kept on the next sync from Prowlarr. As at the moment we don't have plans to manage this option from Prowlarr until it gets more mature across all the arrs (not just one, which is the situation currently) and maybe even accumulates other options.
@chrisfosterelli commented on GitHub (May 21, 2025):
It looks like this is in radarr now, FWIW.
@mynameisbogdan commented on GitHub (May 21, 2025):
Yes, I was the one who cherry-picked it from Sonarr.
@ThaDaVos commented on GitHub (May 31, 2025):
Any ETA for when we can expect this? Currently going through all my indexers manually.
One way this could be shipped quickly is perhaps adding this setting "per app" or in the "sync profile"
@chrisfosterelli commented on GitHub (Jun 1, 2025):
@mynameisbogdan Ha, I guess informing you was a little redundant then 😅 Thanks, it's a great feature!
@ryparty commented on GitHub (Jul 7, 2025):
I vote for this feature as well, it's a pain to manually do it for each indexerfor both Sonarr and Radarr...
@Sean89us commented on GitHub (Feb 11, 2026):
Would very much like to see this feature added!
