Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

When I would like to add a torrent, I am unable to select which client I would like to add this torrent to as my Prowlarr uses multiple different torrent clients. When I add do add the torrent, it either adds the torrent to all clients, or it round-robins them.

Describe the solution you'd like

A menu of sorts that allow the user to select which client the user would like the add the torrent to.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I am not aware of any alternatives that would pertain to my specific use-case.

Anything else?

Should look just like the Indexer or Category drop-downs but should only appear once the grab release button is visible.

I'd love to have this feature as well. I run a separate torrent client for private trackers that have more stringent seeding requirements and this would streamline things a good bit.

+1 for this

Doesn't even need to be a menu. Just make it an advanced config in a indexer, wherein all grabs of that particular indexer will go to the predefined download client.

This would be a lovely.
My current work around: set the sync level of the apps to "Add and Remove Only", and then within Sonarr/Radarr's "Indexers" settings page select the relevant DownloadClient (enable advanced settings to see the option).

This specifically would be mighty useful. Different trackers may necessitate a different client setup.

Especially private trackers. (e.g. not adding your pre-defined list of trackers to new torrents avoiding false-reporting of ratio stats which can easily result in bans from those trackers...)

I'll give this one a shot when I have time, will probably start looking into it tomorrow.
