It would be helpful if Radarr could set the extension of a file incoming from a Remote Path Mapping file copy could have and extension added to the end of the file name, like this: movie.mkv.temp. This extension should be removed once the copy is complete so Plex/whatever can pick up the new media file.
I copy over a sub 10mbps connection from the nzb downloader server. The copy works fine, but during the copy, Plex picks up the movie as if it were ready to watch, but it's not ready yet. My connection speed fluctuates and a file copy can take an hour or more. This unwatchable show causes confusion and does not pass the wife test.
What do you think?

@fryfrog commented on GitHub (Apr 7, 2017):
I think this is a good idea too, it'd be mildly helpful even for slow local network copies as well. Really, it is just a safe thing to do overall.
@galli-leo commented on GitHub (Apr 8, 2017):
@beefycheddar For now you could send a notification once Radarr has finished importing the file. This should enable whoever wants to watch the movie to know exactly when it is ready to go.

This issue has been automatically marked as stale because it has not had recent activity. Please verify that this is still an issue with the latest version of Radarr and report back. Else this issue will be closed.
@julian-ladjani commented on GitHub (Dec 18, 2020):
Hello, end of 2020, v3 of radarr and nothing about this issue ?
@bakerboy448 commented on GitHub (Dec 18, 2020):
When there is an update one will be posted. asking for updates is not a good habit to get into :)
this is also tagged as sonarr upstream, which implies it'll be more likely to get done if it is implemented in sonarr.
@julian-ladjani commented on GitHub (Dec 18, 2020):
I know, but this issue has been posted 3 years ago. Yes I see that same issue is planned for Sonarr V3 finger crossed ^^
