Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing open and closed issues

It'd be useful to set "Upgrade Priority" with the Download Clients.

Describe the solution you'd like

Doing so would allow for library upgrades, while also prioritizing newer content (even if it's "old").

Describe alternatives you've considered

Can't think of any way to do this without functionality built into Radarr

Anything else?

Unclear feature request. Please specify exactly what you want and the usecase.

Upgrades with quality profile using quality or custom format score already exist

Yes upgrades are available, but the behaviour with Download Clients means that they will be Prioritized the same and "new" or "old" files. I'd like the ability to have files being upgraded set to a lower priory with the Download Client.

So two additional priorities - recent upgrade priority, old upgrade priority?

Both would probably allow for the most functionality, but just adding "Upgrade Priority" would be nice. It'd end up with "Recent", "Old" and "Upgrade".
