Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe
In Table view, customized column options are stored in the site cookie, so clearing cache, system upgrades or using a new browser resets the users desired column options to the arbitrary system default. There is no way to change the system default column options.
Describe the solution you'd like
At the bottom of the Table Options dialogue box, there would be a toggle 'Save as default' (or something similar) so the selected options and order will then become the systems default Table Options and persist across browsers, upgrades, etc.
Describe alternatives you've considered

@bakerboy448 commented on GitHub (Oct 27, 2025):
No plans for users to change defaults.
You should address why your setup is constantly clearing cookies so often that this is a problem.
@elliotjm64 commented on GitHub (Oct 27, 2025):
There was never a mention of my setup constantly clearing cookies, three separate reasons for wanting a persistent user designated default were suggested but for some reason you decided to latch onto one? Oh well, thank you for your time.
