I created a module with the module builder, then deployed it. It has no icon in subpanels or sidebar

Issue

new suite install, no modifications done, I created a module using the suite module builder and deployed it. Noticed no icon for subpanels and recent items, tried repair and rebuild and hard refresh of browser, still nothing.

Expected Behavior

any sort of icon should be visible, on a much older 7.x version of suite I have been able to create modules using the builder and they have a cube icon by default.

Actual Behavior

no icon

Possible Fix

unknown
