Issue

As of 7.13.0, There is now a toggle on Group Inbound Email Accounts named:
"Move Messages to Trash After Import?"

If this is checked, it appears as though Case Updates, (ie: Emails with the Case Macro in Subject), are negatively affected.

  • The Email is not successfully Imported into the CRM
  • The Case Update is not applied to the Appropriate Case

Expected Behavior

Emails with the Case Macro in the subject should behave the same as regular emails.
ie: Imported into the CRM, and moved into the User's Mailbox's Trash Folder.

Actual Behavior

  • The Email is not successfully Imported into the CRM
  • The Case Update is not applied to the Appropriate Case

Steps to Reproduce

In your Mail Account, Ensure you have some Case Emails to Import
Ensure you also have some Case Updates to Import (Cases with the Case Macro in subject)
Create a Group Inbound Email Account, Check: "Import Cases Automatically", "Move messages to Trash", "Create Case from Email"
Select a folder that contains the above noted Case Emails & Updates, and Save
Run Cron.php so that the Mailbox is polled
