Steps to reproduce:
Could not install Ubuntu GNU/Linux:
Is this an OS installation ISO issue, or is it a Ventoy issue? If it's a Ventoy issue, please inform about this.

Something like "The free disk space cannot be used to install an operating systems (OS), if the OS installation ISO is run from Ventoy on the same disk"

Reserved Disk SpaceRunning the live Linux os will usually put the /dev/sdX will put the drive into a read only state in most distros. For Ubuntu I would recommend that you run in uefi mode. Press
eon the boot option for Ubuntu & add deletequietand puttoramin it's place this will download the whole Ubuntu iso to ram then once you are on the desktop just pull your flash drive out & then put it back in now the drive should be writable. Have Ubuntu two partitions in the unallocated space. Efi System Partition 500mb then your root file system for the rest of the drive. To choose Ubuntu boot up next time either select the 3rd partition from your motherboard boot menu or if it's not available use the following feature to find the 3rd partition Ubuntu boot files and go to/efi/boot/bootx64.efi@davidhedlund commented on GitHub (Nov 11, 2023):
