Right now , the book appears in a format that isn't compatible with dictionary extensions. Like for example google dictionary which lets you double click a word so it gives you a brief definition.

Why would this be helpful?

It will be helpful for faster word lookup.

Future Implementation (Screenshot)

Right now you can only look up the chapter words 😆

@advplyr Hi. I meant for the ebooks. I like to listen and read at the same time so being able to double click unknown words for definition would be an awesome feature.

Ok I think this is the first it has been brought up on the web client. It has been requested for the mobile apps https://github.com/advplyr/audiobookshelf-app/issues/1655
