Hey, first, THANK YOU!!! This is amazing. I just added your audiobookshelf to my unraid dockers. Works great! I wish I had any developer skills because this is exactly the functionality that I've been wishing someone smarter than me would make! I'm a jellyfin fanboy but it sucks at audio books. Have you considered taking your awesome bookshelf and integrating it into jellyfin rather than making full standalone server? If you got a donation thing somewhere, I definitely owe you a good beer!
@advplyr commented on GitHub (Aug 26, 2021):
I really appreciate that, these comments and github stars help confirm that I'm not the only one who has been frustrated with existing solutions.
I'm also a Jellyfin fan, I give Jellyfin a lot of credit in my learning about HLS streaming through their open source code. I haven't considered an integration yet because it would take much longer to get off the ground, but for sure something to consider down the road. I understand why you ask though, because I have also been looking out for a platform that can serve all types of media in the way I want.
I may put up a donation button when this project makes it out of beta, if you are still around for that then I certainly welcome your support! The vast majority of my audiobook consumption is from my phone, so the mobile app needs to be available in some capacity before version 1.0.
