Describe the feature/enhancement
Hello. You have created a nice app. Thanks.
I would like to suggest awesome features.
1)It will be cool if you app could combine listening and reading ebooks.(to have pdf, epub readers like in Kavita and CalibreWeb.)And while you are reading an ebook - the audio player should be on the top.
It is useful for learning languages when you can listening and reading an ebook at the same time, and click pause/play don’t switching contexts
2) the next feature is ability to make annotations in pdf, epub, like highlighting, underscoring etc.
Thanks

Item 1 is possible -- refer to my last picture in #916.
I think Item 2 is duplicated elsewhere but can't find it.
Just noting this appears to be an app request -- refer to https://github.com/advplyr/audiobookshelf-app/ for these.
@advplyr possibly closable, I'm happy to put together a checklist that collects all the e-reader related requests if that would be helpful
@advplyr commented on GitHub (Dec 11, 2023):
Yeah item 1 is already available. Highlighting and annotations in epub is something we can do if we stay with using epubjs.
@advplyr commented on GitHub (Dec 11, 2023):
It would be helpful if we found all the ebook related inquiries and labeled them as ebooks then we can filter for that in the issues page
@KhaaL commented on GitHub (Jan 29, 2024):
Just a quick link to https://github.com/advplyr/audiobookshelf/issues/1709 which seems to relate to this issue.
@Hutch79 commented on GitHub (Feb 10, 2024):
Would also love to see the possibility to highlight text in EPUBs/PDFs.
Would be an easier way to find the place you left reading.

Was this feature dropped by main dev(s)?
