I have searched the existing issues, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate report.

The bug

I think we had a similar issue for albums in the past, but currently when on a tag page, all newly uploaded assets appear on that view. I can't find that issue ATM.

Reproduction steps

Navigate to a tag page
Upload an image to Immich in another tab
Image appears in Tag page, until reload

This bug is still happening in the latest Immich release (v2.2.2). I don't see any other open issues about this same problem (I did a search for open issues with "tag" in the title). This is something someone should fix.

I believe I see the same issue, v2.4.1, I setup immich for the first time (very cool project, hats down), tagged my photos and imported about 20K. Everything worked out of box, but I noticed a bit annoying issue. I had a few images with the wrong tag, e.g. '2021' instead of just 2021, but when I clicked on the tag to find them, the page kept loading new images, the view was constantly moving, I couldn't see the photos I was looking for as immediately other photos from 2022, 2023, etc. started to slowly load, seemingly unstoppable. Just wanted to confirm if this is the same issue or the moving view is a different bug?

Jumped on it too early, once I removed those bad tags, things stabilized, tags are working now as expected showing only the photos with that tag, no view is moving anymore, everything works perfectly out of sudden. Not sure if it was related to my tag cleanup or perhaps more likely htat some thumbnails didn't finish processing (slow Celerons on Synology). Sorry, for the spam.
