I have searched the existing issues, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate report.

The bug

Attempting to resize on the right or bottom sides of an image in the editor shows the resize cursor outside the area where it should be shown and does not allow me to resize.

Reproduction steps

  1. Select an image
  2. Enter the image editor
  3. Try to resize image from the right or bottom sides

Relevant log output

Additional information

I am using Firefox 147.0.2-1.

Taking a quick look at the rendered HTML code, I see no reason for why this would be happening. Also, the resizing and such works without issue on the top and left sides, so it is not simply just offset.

Immich v2.5.3 is not yet available on TrueNAS, so I am unable to test the latest version. Though, looking at the changelog in the release, nothing there sounds like it could affect this.

I can reproduce this on my own 2.5.2 server, but not on demo.immich.app which is 2.5.3. I'll close this as it seems to be fixed, feel free to reopen if you experience this on demo.immich.app or when you update to 2.5.3

I am unable to reopen due to missing permissions, but I experience the same issue on demo.immich.app.

I just tested with Chromium (no extensions) and Firefox (w/ extensions, my daily driver) as well as on 1080p, 1440p, and 4K monitors, and I experience the same issue in all attempts.

On the demo site, I tested with the following images (one portrait, the other landscape) with all the available crop aspect ratios:

And I still experience the issue.

I suppose I should add that I am using EndeavourOS with KDE Plasma 6.5.5.

EDIT: I just updated to 2.5.3 and the issue is still present for me
