Originally created by @Plungestep on GitHub (Jul 9, 2025).
I'm using a Logitech external keyboard on my local machine, and when I connect to a remote machine via the JetKVM, it does not allow me to type capital letters or two-key combinations.
The on-screen keyboard works just fine, but that's getting really, really old.
Using the text-paste feature only works part of the time, and I cannot rely on that. Plus, that's cumbersome too. I would rather just type normally and have it work.
Is there any fix or workaround I can try?
My JetKVM is running:
App: 0.4.6
System: 0.2.5
@dassiegfried commented on GitHub (Jul 16, 2025):
as a workaround for two key combinations (ctrl + X) or something like this i used the Keyboard Macros (Settings > Keyboard Macros) setting to create those "combined" key inputs as a button until they get around to fixing this bug
@Plungestep commented on GitHub (Aug 27, 2025):
I set up macros for two key combinations in the JetKVM software but those do not work either. I really, really, really, wish I could type a capital letter with my keyboard. I'm having to set up macros to do that too, which is annoying.
