Hello,
Is there any way to encrypt movie files on the fly whenever utilizing i.e. S3?
@MichaIng commented on GitHub (Jun 19, 2025):
You mean client-side encryption or server-side?
motionEye has no media encryption feature. But storage backends may have a server-side solution. You would need to check which the storage provider/server.

client-side
@MichaIng commented on GitHub (Jun 19, 2025):
Okay, no that feature does not exist (yet). Encrypted transport yes, but no encrypted storage.
