1. What is not working as documented?
When I have two photos that get stacked and one of them is a Live Photo I always get the Live Photo button (even when the primary isn't the Live Photo one) and the Stacks button never shows up.
2. How can we reproduce it?
Add two photos that get stacked and one of them is a Live Photo.
3. What behavior do you expect?
There should be a way to view both photos from the Stack.
4. What could be the cause of your problem?
The fact that one of the photos is a Live Photo
5. Can you provide us with example files for testing, error logs, or screenshots?
I can try to make test files to supply through the email if needed.
6. Which software versions do you use?
(a) PhotoPrism Architecture & Build Number: AMD64 Build [231128-f48ff16ef]
(b) Database Type & Version: SQLite
(c) Operating System Types & Versions: Linux / Docker
(d) Browser Types & Versions: Chrome
@graciousgrey commented on GitHub (Dec 19, 2023):
We are planning to build a new photo viewer that offers an option to display all photos in a stack:
I agree that the current solution is not ideal as the space on the thumbnail is limited, which leads to the behavior you describe. For the same reason, it is also not possible to display all photos in a stack when you are in selection mode.

@MEGAMENE Please let us know if you are still following this issue and if it is still a problem with our latest preview build. You can also test it using our public demo. Thank you!

Also, note that Live Photos are stacks by definition, just like RAWs (multiple files). While we could improve our stack support to show exactly how many files are stacked in the search results, so you can see if a Live Photo has more than two files, this would be a new feature, not a bug fix.
