Describe what problem this solves and why this would be valuable to many users
Direct Links are important so that they can be used in other applications. For example, I intend to use Photoprism to store all the images of the products we manufacture. I will create SKU-wise directories to store them, and I would like to use direct links to the images that other services such as Shopify, Amazon could read from.
I think there would be several other use-cases, such as embedding into blogs, etc that would make direct links very useful

Directly getting the link from the server manually, but that is very cumbersome
