As a Raspberry Pi 5 user, I would like to have an updated PhotoPrismPi MicroSD Image so that I can easily run PhotoPrism on my device.
Due to many unexpected errors, e.g. when mounting the Ubuntu base image, it was not possible to build a new PhotoPrismPi image based on Ubuntu 24.04 and CustomPiOS within the 3 hours we had set aside for this. As a result, we currently cannot provide Raspberry Pi 5 users with a compatible SD card image. Any help from our community to build a new image (using CustomPiOS or using another method) would therefore be much appreciated! 🧑🚀 🚀 ✨

I have no experience with creating OS images, but I would be happy to help, as I just installed PhotoPrism on a Raspberry Pi 5 myself.
Can I ask why to use Ubuntu and not Raspberry Pi OS Lite as the base operating system? I would personally use Debian, but it does not support the Raspberry Pi 5, yet.

A new SD card image is now available on our download server, and the related documentation has been updated:
