What Problem Does This Solve and Why Is It Valuable?
I browse my photoprism library and see a RAW file I really like. I want to edit it in my editing app of choice and then roundtrip the edited file back into PhotoPrism, associated with the original. Similar UX to Lightroom "Edit in Photoshop" or Capture One "Edit in...", Apple Photos, etc.
Maybe in the long term, a callback API for the edit which will allow other open-source apps to integrate roundtrip functionality and send edited images back to photoprism on their own time.
For now, maybe an option to drag edited photos ontop of the originals and prompt users if they want to associate those photos together.
