Confirmation
What Problem Does This Solve and Why Is It Valuable?
Recent cameras (I've tested Sony and Canon) support some really nice rich metadata inside their raw files which I use for cataloging my photos in-camera before import.
Some features I use is star-rating my photos in-camera, adding voice notes to photos.
Cameras with high speed burst capability like the Sony a1 also tag burst groups in the exif metadata so that they can be displayed in the UI as a stack (similar to how Google photos stacks bursts).
I can provide some raw files / memory card dumps for testing. Here is a doc describing the Sony metadata structure: https://exiftool.org/TagNames/Sony.html
What Solution Would You Like?
What Alternatives Have You Considered?
Currently I use Lightroom / Capture One to deal with these things and don't use PhotoPrism as my main DAM.
