Before You Continue
What Is Not Working as Documented?
PhotoPrism incorrectly merges multiple folders into one in the UI. Even after disabling all stacking options (Place & Time, Unique ID, Sequential Name) and performing a "Complete Rescan", only one folder is displayed. The title of the folder and the actual file paths shown in the UI are inconsistent (e.g., showing a title from Folder A but a file path from Folder B).
How Can We Reproduce It?
What Behavior Do You Expect?
Each physical directory should be represented as a distinct folder in the "Folders" view when stacking is disabled, regardless of filename similarities.
What Could Be the Cause?
