I not have many experience with Linux and can´t compile and install qBittorent in Fedora 17.
I wont do this from github repo. Last version qB.
I can´t found and install dependences libs like:.
yum install GeoIP GeoIP-devel GeoIP-data zlib-devel
http://www.indiangnu.org/2010/how-to-install-geoip-and-mod_geoip2-on-centos-for-apache-2/

@sledgehammer999 close. There are a ton of distributions, we can't maintain instructions for all of them.

The debian/ubuntu guide should work for any distro. The only difference is the commands to download packages from the distro's repositories.
