qBittorrent MacOS stops networking #10698

Please provide the following information

qBittorrent version and Operating System

qBittorrent 4.2.5 MacOS 10.15.5

If on linux, libtorrent-rasterbar and Qt version

(type here)

What is the problem

After qBittorent launch, quit, and launch again, no packets are flowing. Condition persists until my iMac is rebooted. Uninstalling and re-installing qBittorrent is not a substitute for rebooting. I have also tried clearing out ~/.config/qBittorrent. Problem persists.

What is the expected behavior

I have roughly 8 torrents registered at any given time, so I expect network traffic and in particular, upload activity.

Steps to reproduce

Launch qBittorrent. Wait for network traffic to begin. Quit qBittorrent. Launch qBittorrent again.

Extra info(if any)

I am not having this issue with Transmission client. With the same torrents registered, upload activity within a few seconds. I am willing to do more trouble-shooting. In particular, if there is some state information besides ~/.config/qBittorrent, I would like to try clearing that out.
