What is the problem
add Checking status type to the side panel should be useful. Currently if a torrent goes into checking state, it is very hard to find where it is
What is the expected behavior

In case this request doesn't happen, you can sort the torrent list by Status column. It can't be that hard then.
@as-muncher commented on GitHub (Jul 5, 2021):
This is a very simple thing to add/fix!! I'm surprised that it hasn't been done in all this time. I'm currently using 4.3.6 x64 on Windows 21H1. I very much would like to see a "Checking" line in the Status panel. Otherwise, I have to look at Resource Monitor or Task Manager to see that qbittorrent is heavily using the hard drive, which usually means that it is checking. Just make the Checking status appear and then disappear when all the torrents have been checked, and then go back to the last selected category in the status panel, or go back to the All status. @thalieht Yes one could click on the status column and sort it, but when one has hundreds of torrents, that's a fair amount of scrolling to where you might see "Checking", and then you don't know where it would be: after [F} seeding, or where.
