Hello,
I noticed that sometimes qBittorrent downloads torrents outside the download directory, even if it's writable. While in the download and setting dialogs it says that the download directory is ~/Downloads/qBittorrent, sometimes it downloads it to /tmp//.
I'm not sure but I think this happens only with magnet links. It happened today when downloading a file from TPB, but it needs more testing though.

You are probably using libtorrent =< 0.16.12 .
