qBittorrent & operating system versions

qBittorrent 4.4.0 32-bit
Operating System: PiOS/Docker
Qt: 5.15.3
Libtorrent: 2.0.5.0

What is the problem?

I am able to create new categories for torrents as expected, by right clicking on an existing category and selecting "Add Category". However, when I set the save path for torrents in a category and press "Add" the information is not retained. This is true when editing an existing category as well.

Then, when adding a torrent to one of these categories, the "Save files to location:" field in the upload window sets itself to "undefined" rather than the actual target directory.

Of note, I am also having a separate problem with frequent crashes/the webUI becomes unresponsive intermittently since the update to 4.4.0. I'm trying to troubleshoot that separately but it certainly seems worth mentioning at least. This issue with categories is present even when the interface is stable and otherwise working. I'm able to save other settings from the webUI, but not category directories. Prior to updating to 4.4.0 I was running qB without issues for the past six months or so, since the docker container was first installed.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a category.
  2. Set a category name and save path.
  3. Press Add.
  4. Right click the new category and click Edit Category.
  5. Try to upload a new torrent and set the Category.

Additional context

upload torrent
edit category

What I think is an unrelated issue, seems to happen frequently whenever torrents are actively downloading:
unreachable

Log(s) & preferences file(s)

qbit preferences.txt

Nothing is recorded in the logs when I manipulate the settings in question, could be a hint?
