qBittorrent & operating system versions

qBittorrent-nox v4.2.5
LMDE 5 "Elsie" (Debian bullseye)

What is the problem?

Cannot rename folders in WebUI within the "Content" tab.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open qBittorent WebUI in your browser
  2. Select a torrent with multiple files\folders
  3. Open the "Content" tab
  4. Right click on top folder and choose "Rename.."
  5. Change the name to whatever (I also tried nested folders like "topfolder/childfolder")
  6. Click "Save"

Expected result:
Folder got changed in WebUI and in the disk.

Actual result:
An error popped up saying "Failed to update name"

Additional context

I'm new to qBittorrent-nox came from regular qBittorrent as I just setup a new server for this.
In the regular qBittorrent on Windows I was able to rename the folder and change the hierarchy this way (to move the files to a nested folder) and I noticed I cannot do that in Linux. it just won't accept / in the name..
I'm assuming if we'll be able to change the name in WebUI it'll unfortunately act similar to how regular qBittorrent ats in Linux.
As a workaround, these are the steps I need to take to overcome this (not recommended):

  1. Because it's a headless server I need to change target to graphical.target and reboot
  2. When OS is up again, stop the nox service
  3. Launch regular qBittorrent
  4. Now I can change the folder name but without changing the hierarchy.
  5. To change the hierarchy I need to "set location.." for the torrent
  6. Now I need to quit qBittorrent
  7. And start the nox service again
  8. Change the target back to multi-user.target
  9. And reboot.
    Oof...

So this is the latest on Debian.. there's no way to install nox > v4.2.5 on "bullseye" without breaking too many stuff...
Please someone correct me.

Software bugs cannot be fixed without releasing a new version. I don't understand what you expected...

It's not that, I thought I'm on the latest I just got this wrong. this is my mistake.
I only added that Debian users (the latest stable release at least) won't be able to contribute to qBittorrent if the OS uses "outdated" binaries.
I tried to fulfil the dependencies but it was quite a bit and I did break my OS...
