Originally created by @sirinath on GitHub (May 8, 2014).
If there is a part download there are times which this is detected as zero and re downloaded.
Also when doing a force recheck if aBT crashers the size is shown as 0 then you re start and the download is started from the beginning.
Sometimes after a crash the value is shown as 0 and the download begins from the start.
Please actively check for existing data and files before starting a download.

@sirinath commented on GitHub (May 9, 2014):

How do you use "keep incomplete torrent in:" feature?
@sledgehammer999 commented on GitHub (May 9, 2014):
Just so you know, latest is 3.1.9.2. I think you should have gotten an update popup.
This is a setting in the tools->options... Have you enable that? If yes, the it explains your problem. That feature is a little bit problematic.
@sirinath commented on GitHub (May 9, 2014):
I have this enable. I have been continuously loosing a lot of files due to crashers. Is it possible to fix this?
@Soukyuu commented on GitHub (May 11, 2014):
This is probably related to #127
