@glassez commented on GitHub (Feb 18, 2023):
What do you mean by "local network folder"?
@stalkerok commented on GitHub (Feb 18, 2023):
Downloading takes place on another PC connected via local network.

Two screenshots, the first before clicking "open destination folder", the second after.
@stalkerok commented on GitHub (Feb 18, 2023):
qBittorrent.zip
run client as admin
If you don't try to kill the process, it will eventually open the folder.
@glassez commented on GitHub (Feb 18, 2023):
Could it be due to a lack of bandwidth, which is occupied by the data transfer of the torrent itself?
@stalkerok commented on GitHub (Feb 18, 2023):
I think I understood what's going on. This state is caused by the Preallocation=true option, until the client sends the entire volume, "open destination folder" causes a hang, and only after completion the interface becomes responsive.
@xavier2k6 commented on GitHub (Dec 21, 2023):
@stalkerok Is this still an issue with qBittorrent 4.6.2/master??
@stalkerok commented on GitHub (Dec 22, 2023):
No way to test it, maybe later.

5.0 behavior is similar.
@luzpaz commented on GitHub (Aug 14, 2024):
@stalkerok can you still reproduce on 4.6.5 ?
@stalkerok commented on GitHub (Aug 15, 2024):
@luzpaz check out the video, it uses 4.6.2, and as I wrote before
I don't think anything has changed.
@xavier2k6 commented on GitHub (Jul 4, 2025):
@stalkerok How does 5.1.2 behave?
