qBittorrent & operating system versions

qBittorrent: 4.5.2 x64
Operating system: Linux Debian 12
Kernel: 6.1.0-7-amd64

I'm using the qbittorrent in the Debian repos, and I'm unsure if it's been fixed or not.

What is the problem?

error: Value too large for defined data type

After a recheck the error seems to persist, but I can't find any exact reason why it keeps appearing.

Steps to reproduce

No idea

Additional context

No response

Log(s) & preferences file(s)

4/26/23 2:33 PM - File error alert. Torrent: "torrent". File: "my path". Reason: "torrent file_write (path to file) error: Value too large for defined data type"

@Redhawk18 would be great if you pasted the full About info (which shows other dependency versions like Qt etc...)

I get the same error

16.6.23 21:44 - File error alert. Torrent: "torrentname". File: "/run/media/silver/OWH/Downloads/torrentname/filename.mkv". Reason: "torrentname file_write (/run/media/silver/OWH/Downloads/torrentname/filename.mkv) error: Value too large for defined data type"

qBittorrent v4.5.3 (64-bit)
Qt: 6.5.1
Libtorrent: 2.0.9.0
Boost: 1.81.0
OpenSSL: 3.1.1
zlib: 1.2.13
on EndevourOS (downloaded using pacman https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/qbittorrent/)
linux kernel version: 6.3.8-arch1-1
It seems to only happen on certain torrents and not on others and it happens at seemingly random intervals
/run/media/silver/OWH/ is an ntfs partition mounted with ntfs-3g so maybe that could be a potential culprit (i'm not sure, other torrents on the same partition seemingly do not cause the error)

I don't have this system setup anymore, but I'm pretty sure its happening with NTFS drives and other non native Linux partitions. Because that drive was NTFS.

this is a known ntfs on linux issue (not exclusive to qBitTorrent)
