Suggestion

v5.1.2
Arch Linux (Flatpak)
Xorg11
The theme from the system and custom icons are disabled.

Use case

Fix the "Automatically Add from..." default path or copy the finished ones, etc.
They are rigidly linked and do not fall into the "monitored folders", the category also cannot be created from this window (only the ready-made category) "creating folder monitoring" and "folder monitoring options".
And if, for example, you create folders by date, then there is confusion.
Since the "folder base" does not change. Just try to sort by dates (by year, for example) and you'll understand everything.

Extra info/examples/attachments

I would like groups and other parameters to be linked to each monitoring directory (which are in the standard paths that are not changing now).
Thus, it would be possible to add the necessary files to the observation catalogs (for example, by date (by year)) and they were automatically picked up to the files and downloaded to the right directory, and categories would be linked to this automatic directory, without confusion.

In general, there are completely different problems. Why did you merge them?

indicators that are not linked to the catalogs at the bottom... It's always 2011, even if you create the 2010 directory at the bottom. If the 2011 indicators were linked to each catalog in the "Option", it would be possible to sort automatically - without errors and confusion.

does not save a category if it was not originally a category. but it creates new directories. It does not create a new category.

I can reproduce that.

but it creates new directories.

Not sure how to reproduce that... maybe it has something to do with your other posts https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/23171#issuecomment-3229780314 https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/23171#issuecomment-3229782241 which i don't understand, again.

EDIT 2005 NO SAVE 2011

I think you misunderstand how it works but i won't say anything because i'm not sure about how you think it works.

What is your native language? Will I transfer to it right away? Maybe it will be clearer this way.

I enter 2010, not 2005, into that field on the keyboard - it leaves 2005 if the 2005 category was not created earlier (earlier before that, if the category does not exist).

NOT!!! Please don't mock me. They are not related - they are different topics and different meanings of topics.

  1. 1 line does not change. 2. Just put everything in one directory 2008, another directory 2009, the third 2010. Make the "Default Save Path" 2008 for 2008 at the bottom. Make "Default Save Path " 2009 for 2009 at the bottom. Make "Default Save Path" 2010 for 2010 at the bottom. etc... For the "Copy" line and for the other lines, make 2008, 2009, 2010 at the bottom. (the numbers are just an example). And not just one row of 2011 at the top - for all rows of 2008, 2009, 2010 - at the bottom in the window for auto assembly catalogs. So that I could throw the file in 2008 and it started pumping in 2008, I threw the file in 2009 and it started pumping in 2009, and not when I throw the file in 2008 and it pumps in 2011 (line at the top).
