Hey, running Elementory OS Luna, based off of Ubuntu 12.04. The program keeps crashing repeatedly.

Nevemind, 12.04 repos, i'm using 2.9.7. I'm going to keep this issue open for just a small amount of time, to test if it crashes after an upgrade.

Unless I am mistaken, support for 12.04 by Canonical has ended. That means that the PPAs cannot build packages for your version.
Honestly you are using a very old version anyway. You should upgrade. (or change distros if you don't like Unity).

No, no, it's not that. I use a distro that's based on 12.04.. Ah, well, might as well wait, there's a new release for Elementary OS on the horizon.

Also, FYI, 12.04 is an LTS release, and LTS releases are support for five years 😄
