It's odd that the Statistics window opens in a new window instead of being integrated. Could be either on the left side, or with errors in status bar ala uTorrent.

The main UI should be clean and functional. There is no added functionality in cramming statistics into the main view.
As for the error view, that's a separate issue. It's already proposed with another report and will be implemented some time.
