This is similar to #2640, #1203, and #2112.

Basically, whenever I open qbittorrent, the GUI and splashscreen hangs. However, I see in the task manager that there is significant network and processor usage (keeping in mind that I have some of my torrent's data on a NAS drive, so the network usage might be related to reading files).

I'm using Windows 8.1 and qbittorrent 3.1.12. Any ideas why this might be happening?
