Hi.
I'm using v3.0.0 on windows 7
I have python 2.7.3 installed
There is no search engin listed when I hit the "search engines..." button
When I try to update the list of search engines, I get this message: "sorry, update server is temporarly unavailable"
When I try to install manually some unofficial search engine via the "install new one button", I get "... search engine could not be installed"
@cdumez commented on GitHub (Aug 14, 2012):
Please try to reinstall python 2.7. If search does not work, it usually means there is something wrong the Python installation.
@tedlegrand commented on GitHub (Aug 14, 2012):
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both python 2.7 32bit and 64bit
without success. I have also tried a reinstall of qbittorrent without
success.
Thanks.
@cdumez commented on GitHub (Aug 15, 2012):
Please try the following:
This should install fresh copies on nova2.py and the search plugins to your hard disk.
@tedlegrand commented on GitHub (Aug 15, 2012):
Thanks, but unfortunately I keep getting the same error messages.
@cdumez commented on GitHub (Aug 15, 2012):
Are you installing Python to the default location? (C:\Python27) I'm running out of ideas.
