I am using Qbitttorrent's latest version; updated about a few days ago.
Recently, as I try to launch Qbittorrent, it results in the blue screen and 'IRQL Not Less or Equal'
Can anyone tell me what's wrong? Nothing of the kind ever happened with the previous version of Qbittorrent. Besides, ALL the other programs installed on my notebook are doing fine.
Thanks
Faig

Have seen the same problem. Appears to be related to Intel WiFi chipset driver. Updated to latest release ... and we'll see.
Have noted related problem with qBitTorrent just "locking up". Not sure if it's related to the IRQL issue or not, but just started noticing the problems in the last few releases.
Any ideas on how to track this down?
@bonazaz commented on GitHub (Jan 3, 2013):
Hi
Thanks for the reply
Ditto, I first noticed this problem with qBitTorrent - to the extent that I
had to uninstall and replace it with Vuze! Don't know what the issue might
be or how it can be tracked because I'm not so well-versed in the
software/hardware compatibility issues.
Do you think I should re-download and re-install WarThunder?

A bit of a confusion ))))
The same problem that arose with qBitTorrrent also presented itself with
the online (client-based) game WarThunder (after I had to uninstall the
torrent program). So, I sent tickets both to you and these game's devs.
)))))
But, yes, it's kinda strange especially I have never encountered it before.
I'm using Windows 8 - might this be the cause of the problem?

I suggest you upload kernel minudump somewhere if you haven't disabled their creating. They are usually located in
C:\Windows\Minidump\Either way this error is usually caused by drivers.
@bonazaz commented on GitHub (Jan 3, 2013):
Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I'll try looking kernel minidump up
I didn't disable anything on purpose, so, it should be there

Have a mini-dump where qBitTorrent just locked up -- to the point that Process Explorer could not kill it off. (Me thinks it might be a driver issue vs. qBitTorrent.) Mini-dump posted to http://www.phxchris.com/dump/qbittorrent.dmp
@Lodesys commented on GitHub (Jan 18, 2013):
Had the "IRQL Not Less or Equal" blue screen error today. qBitTorrent had been running for a couple of hours in the background. Here's a link to the dump file: http://www.phxchris.com/dump/011713-31730-01.dmp
@ghost commented on GitHub (Jan 20, 2013):
@PhxChris the dmp file you uploaded reports that netbt.sys is your issue.

@Belove0 commented on GitHub (Apr 10, 2013):
I had this issue too, finally seems to be resolved for me. It was the Intel Wifi driver for me (NETWSW00.SYS or NET W5S64.SYS depending on version, on my system). I had this trouble until the very latest Intel Wifi driver I tried -- and the latest available at the time -- v15.6.1 (downloaded March 29). [EDIT: the driver that is working for me on my Intel Advanced N 6200 was the 15.6.1 release for Network Administrators. The download link for the general release was not working at the time, and the Admin release has added features (but requires the skill to unzip the installer before running it). Admin releases: http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wtech/proset-ws/sb/CS-034038.htm General releases: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx (There is a general release page that just lists all the software, without having to go through the search process, but it is out of date).
I didn't see this issue with the stock driver (now a couple years old) that is available from Dell for my system, but I wasn't running QBittorrent on that driver either, and I didn't have a Wireless N router at the time, as I do now.
It is a common complaint on the Intel forums, by the way, going back a long time.
Nothing pointing to a Qbittorrent-related issue to me.
@sledgehammer999 commented on GitHub (Apr 10, 2013):
Probably a driver issue. Nothing that we can fix. Closing. If however, you find proof that this is a qbittorrent problem, please comment and I will reopen this.
@ruslo commented on GitHub (Dec 4, 2013):
I have same problem (regular bsod on windows) and I found out that there is a bug in my firewall (I'm using Agnitum Outpost). After firewall reinstall everything works fine.
