Can't install qbittorrent on Windows 10 as it detects qbittorrent is already running - problem is qbittorrent is not running - however the setup application in task manager is also qbittorrent...hence it seems that the installer is detecting itself as a running instance of qbittorrent. I got around the problem in 3.2.3 by renaming the setup executable, however didn't work in 3.2.4.

The downloaded installer file should have the name qbittorrent_3.2.4_setup.exe. If not you downloaded it from some unofficial resource.

Nevertheless, follow these steps:

Make sure the installer has the above name
Exit qbittorrent and make sure it disappears from the list in the "Processes" tab of Task Manager
After that launch the installer

Does it work?

Wine is not supported. Run native on linux.
