I don't think there's a fix for this right now on the 3.2.x branch. I had the same problem, but we couldn't pinpoint the issue. My solution was to disable "Start qbittorrent minimized" and deal with the window at login. One extra click is not a problem. It works as intended in the 3.3.0 beta though.

If you can't bring up the window to disable the setting, remove this line from qbittorrent.conf General\StartMinimized=true
