  1. Most BitTorrent clients support 2 variations to change the location target folder for torrent. The first variant is to MOVE files to new target folder, and the second way is just to set a new target folder WITHOUT MOVING files. These clients ask a user, which one of these two methods he/she wants. Unfortunately, latest qBittorrent (v3.2.5) only MOVES files without asking. This is very bad.

Why? I have 2 torrents having 1 big shared file between them. In order not to take double space, i decided to make a symlink to that file for the second torrent. I created symlinks in a folder, thinking that qBittorrent will see them and understand that. When i set the location, the files dis-appeared from previous location but were not created at new target location. I think it was done because of the symlinks. So, the problem #2 (but not vey urgent) is to fix symlinks recognision.

Thank you!

We are closing all issues related to old qBittorrent versions (qBittorrent < 4.1.0).
Please, update to last release and, if the bug/error/crash is still present, open another issue.
Thank you.
