I have been using qbittorrent for a while now, lately the downloads speed has drastically decreased.I have been getting an average download speed of 2mbps now all I get is 25 - 30 kbps.

Please give me a solution to this or fix the problem from the torrent client.

Thanks in advance!!

qbit version?
OS?
Have you tried another client to make sure it's qbit's fault?
You didn't change any settings?
Have you set alternative speed limits? If you have maybe you accidentally hit the icon? (happened to me more than once)

I am also having this issue.
Version: 3.3.3 (Also existed in 3.3.1)
OS: Win7 x64
Other client: Yes, uTorrent does not have the issue. Interestingly enough, my active download in uTorrent saw a massive jump in DL speed once I closed qBit.
I can confirm that alternative speed limits were not set.

Well, to me it happened the same but in reverse. uTorrent worked fantastically for years and then, all of a sudden it became extremely slow. I tried qBitTorrent and the magic worked again. The settings are identical in both clients, and of course, when I close uTorrent, qBitTorrent jumps to the stars.
Now, before I got to qBitTorrent, I did a lot of researches on the net and stumbled on many articles about the insistence of some companies to block the use of P2P use and I believe this is the reason we have the option to use the encryption mode, but on many of these articles (refer to Torrent Freak) they say the companies have cracked the encryption code and are seeding us with malicious codes to slow down our speed.
I don't know how much of this is true but the fact is that when I have uTorrent open, even my computer becomes slower (with no change on the processor activty or significant rise on the memory usage). The same hasn't happened to qBitTorrent so far.
Does anybody have any idea about this?
One more weird behavior that may be connected: Since a couple of months ago, when I add certain torrents, my anti-virus sends me notice that it has stopped an attempt to connect to a blacklisted site by the torrent cliend in use. On uTorrent is so intense that I can't do anything else until I remove the torrent file from the uTorrent folder. On qBitTorrent it happens only when I start the program: once for each inffected torrent and then everything goes nicely. So as soon as the download finishes, I remove the torrent from the job list. Scanning the torrent files, the downloaded files and the program files don't accuse any anomaly.
The slow-down on uTorrent happened after this.
Does anybody have the same behaviour as well?
I use Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Both torrent clients are the latest.
Thanks for any help.

We are closing all issues related to old qBittorrent versions (qBittorrent < 4.1.0).
Please, update to last release and, if the bug/error/crash is still present, open another issue.
Thank you.
