Suggestion:
Please add the option "Preview File" in the settings when you double click a torrents that downloading or downloaded already.
Thanks
@UrbanPotato commented on GitHub (Mar 7, 2013):
no this would require streaming support
witch lib-torrent doesn't have nor should it as it causes massive issues for the swarm
@sledgehammer999 commented on GitHub (Mar 8, 2013):
Qbt already has a "Preview File" option if you right click a torrent. It also launches the file if you double click it in the "contents" tab.
What the OP wants is to add this possibility when a user double-clicks a torrent from the list. Namely to add it as a choice in Tools->Options...->Behavior->Transfer List->Action on double-click
@UrbanPotato commented on GitHub (Mar 8, 2013):
I think he meant preview as in instruct the swarm to fill in the first dozen or so blocks so the file is playable
(assuming its a media file)
you can sorta cheat by downloading first/last piece first but that doesn't always work
@sledgehammer999 commented on GitHub (Mar 8, 2013):
As I said this functionality already exists in qbt.
OP just wants another way of exposing it.
@mindracer13 commented on GitHub (Mar 8, 2013):
Exactly what sledgehammer999 said, the option always exists by right clicking the file and cliking Preview file...
I'd like to be able to set that as default when I double click a torrent.
Right now I set open the destination folder when double clicking a torrent then manually clicking on that file, would be nice to sideskip that step.

Implemented since 4.2.x.
