Hi,
I have qbittorrent running on Linux ( a lesser known Linux distro, Frugalware ) using libtorrent 1.1.0.0 , qt 5.6.0 and boost 1.60.0.
The problem is that it seems to just ignore the file settings for a torrent. If I put in "Do not download" after I've had the torrent downloading for a while it will start to give me I/O errors about those files ( which I told it I told it that even though they are part of the torrent I don't want to have downloaded right now ).
Also when I set maximum priority to a file it just doesn't seem to do much but will prefer to get stuff for other files which have "normal" priority.
I did limit the number of connections but it is connected to 15 seeds and 7 peers for this particular torrent.
This also seems to happen more often ( or only ) after I restart qbittorent. It still shows the files as do not download though but for some reason it gives an I/O error in plasma 5.

Keep in mind that although we have enabled compilation with the libtorrent 1.1.x series we don't actively test with it. (At least my self). 1.1.0 is very new.
We test with 1.0.x series. So it is very likely a libtorrent problem with might have been fixed already for 1.1.1.
Do you mind recompiling with 1.0.9 instead?
@mcirsta commented on GitHub (Jun 8, 2016):
Sure, I'll give it a try tomorrow and report back.
@thalieht commented on GitHub (Jul 25, 2018):
Is this still an issue with latest version?
@mcirsta commented on GitHub (Jul 26, 2018):
I guess tomorrow came and went : ) Sorry about this, I will test soon and report back.
@ngosang commented on GitHub (Sep 16, 2018):
We are closing all issues related to old qBittorrent versions (qBittorrent < 4.1.0).
Please, update to last release and, if the bug/error/crash is still present, open another issue.
Thank you.
