Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

We have 2 big type of filters: status filters and categories
Could we have an option to have only a single selection available?
Let's say i have 300 completed torrents,and i'm watching inside the "movie" category of the completed torrents. I do what i have to do then i want to go back to active torrents but i want to see ALL active torrents not only "movie".
As i said maybe not everyone can find this useful so make it like a feature to toggle:
I hope it's clear
@glassez commented on GitHub (Mar 6, 2017):
Actually you need to do two click instead of one...
Is there a really problem for someone else? I have not heard of this before...
First we need to figure out if we need only to change its behavior, or we must add new behavior to the existing and allow the user to choose (e.g., via program preferences).
@Bhaalspawn commented on GitHub (Mar 6, 2017):
as i said it's not a problem if i have to do it once in a day but i do it many times
Also,when you filter "active torrents" you can't have so many that you need another filter to find the one you are looking for.
Here i suggested an alternative even if (as i said there) the solutions are not exactly the same and could be useful together.
@glassez commented on GitHub (Mar 6, 2017):
Ok, now I have some one idea in my mind. The quick solution can be the following: Ctrl+Click on some filter item switch all other filters to All option. Do you understand what I mean?
@Bhaalspawn commented on GitHub (Mar 6, 2017):
What about giving ctrl+click the universal command? usually people ctrl+click items to add them to selection. So if i want a category i click,if i want to add another category i ctrl+click it...then let's say i want to add a status filter for thiese 2 categories.....another ctrl+click etc etc
Click=swtiches between filters
Ctrl+Click= Add filter to selection
@glassez commented on GitHub (Mar 6, 2017):
Does this mean that you offer also add "multiple filters" feature? I.e a few category/status/trackers at a time?
@Bhaalspawn commented on GitHub (Mar 6, 2017):
if it's possible. i don't need it honestrly,because with subcategories people can already select more folders (if the have the same root folder of course) but it's just what a ctrl+click does on explorer. and it's what it does on qbitorrent too,but in the torrent window.
@isaacimholt commented on GitHub (Apr 17, 2019):
Just add existing behavior to ctrl+click to start with...

This issue has been closed and locked for being too old, and thus either most likely resolved in recent versions or no longer applicable.
If you experience the reported problem or similar in the latest version, please open a new issue report with the requested information in the issue template.
A new issue report with relevant updated data gathered from the latest version is preferable to necroing an old report with a comment like "still happens in version x.y.z", even if you think the bug is the same, or suspect of a regression.
Due to the changes made to the qBittorrent code and its dependencies over time, the exact cause of your problem could be totally different than the original one, despite the visible symptoms of the bug being similar.
Thus, providing relevant updated information is crucial to find and fix the root cause of a recurrent problem or regression.
Thank you for your contributions.
