Sometimes, qb, it closes by itself without any reason. Why?

What version do you use and what OS?
If on linux, try running from a terminal. When it closes there should be some output in the terminal.

Just open the terminal window and type "qbittorrent". It should launch qbt and wait for it to close/crash. In the terminal window there should be some output text. Copy it here.

What version of qbt do you use?

@allywilson commented on GitHub (Sep 22, 2013):

Just started using qbittorrent. I was using the version (2.9.7) in the default ubuntu repos. Keep getting strangely slow speeds (I have an unusual setup (interface is bound to tun0) and then the daemon would stop and couldn't find a log anywhere (or even an option to enable debugging).

Launched qbittorrent from the command line and monitored stdout, here it is:

# /usr/bin/qbittorrent-nox
Peer ID: -qB2970-
HTTP user agent is qBittorrent v2.9.7
22/09/2013 12:07:00 - '/root/.local/share/data/qBittorrent/BT_backup/ab3bdb362945a18e13d56ab3e92880624c7ce578.torrent' resumed. (fast resume)

and provide the following backtrace:

This isn't a qbittorrent bug. Why and some workarounds are at bug #750
