qbittorrent crashes #9491

Please provide the following information

qBittorrent version and Operating System

version 4.2.0 and 4.2.1 on windows 7 ultimate 32 bit

If on linux, libtorrent-rasterbar and Qt version

(type here)

What is the problem

It starts to load, but crashes and exits without showing its main window. On one win 7 machine 4.2.1 works but on other win 7 machine it exits. I had to switched back to version 4.1.9.1

What is the expected behavior

It should come to its main window and allow torrent connection etc

Steps to reproduce

do not know. Till version 4.1.9.1 - it was working perfectly on both machines. Have been using it for more than 2 years without a hitch. The best torrent client.

Without a stacktrace not much can be done. Try moving your settings elsewhere (as backup) https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/wiki/Frequently-Asked-Questions#Where_does_qBittorrent_save_its_settings
