on page1 create a link to page2
Link will be red because page2 doesn't yet exist
Create page2
Refresh page1 and link is still red (it should be blue)
Link color doesn't refresh until page1 is updated again

I had the same problem. Corrected by selecting the page folder using the navigation window

Just wanted to add my 2c to this as I stumbled upon this while investigating another issue. You don't need to "update" the page, it just needs to be re-rendered. Open the page to edit it then just click the "saved" button to re-render it. Should make life a little easier until this is fixed. :)
