It appears a fix is waiting as a pull request but hasn't been approved yet by @NGPixel
@jsarnowski96 commented on GitHub (Oct 8, 2021):
why bother with adding admin user without system privileges? you have a dedicated admin group, so creating another group is pointless unless it's just for the sake of breaking stuff or QA testing.
@jsarola commented on GitHub (Apr 21, 2023):
I have the same problem, but my group only can manage pages and users (nothing from administration). What would be desirable is to list the number of pages, users and groups, as well as the wikijs version, without showing the error.
@MDouglasBTS commented on GitHub (Apr 29, 2025):
Hi,
I've not long setup Wiki.js and I'm getting the same issue when navigating to the Dashboard or Navigation pages. However, I can still makes changes to those pages without admin privileges, only with the admin privileges settings I applied to the group. Has this issue been resolved but on another page? I can't find anything that says it has.
